Pink Floyd’s The Wall The Circus

I designed a circus for my Costume Design class. I chose to base my circus’ theme around the hit album The Wall by Pink Floyd. The album is a psychedelic examination of childhood trauma drawn from the experiences of band members Syd Barrett and Roger Waters. The motif of the wall built to shelter a vulnerable psyche repeats throughout. It was my goal to turn characters and themes in the various tracks on the album into acts for my circus.
